LeSaint Chocolate originally reached out via a referral. Over the years, we had done some minor SEO and website design work for them, but this time, they were looking to do a major overhaul to drive more conversions and increase their revenue.
We recommended beginning with a thorough Conversion Rate Optimization audit. For this, we went through the entire website, the copy, and the checkout process to pinpoint every point of resistance for the user. We also worked on value propositions and value points to guide the content and show the differentiation between this company and its competition.
The CRO audit revealed a lot of issues. The layout was hard to navigate, the categories were confusing and not as clear as they could be, the hero section was not up to best practices, and more.
Once the 16-page CRO audit was complete, we went to work redesigning the website to solve all of the challenges we found and implemented the value propositions and value points. It was a lot of work, but the website speaks for itself now. We also did a nice on-page SEO treatment, which has seen traffic increase by over 118%.
We launched the new site right before their busiest season, and they experienced an over 500% increase in conversions and over 400% increase in revenue. Due to the higher conversions, their email marketing and Google Adwords campaigns were much more successful. Every channel ended up bringing in more revenue with a smaller ad spend.
