SEO can be tough to understand, and this makes choosing the right SEO company that much harder. We value transparency and honesty. Learn about wxactly what we offer.

"I'm getting about 75-100 more calls a month which is great, but what's even better is that the quality of the leads is getting better."

"It was exciting to watch my website go from page 25 to page 1 on Google."

"He goes the extra mile. He is responsive, knowledgeable, and a real pleasure to work with."

There's no straightforward answer to this question. How long SEO takes depends on several factors.
That being said, most SEO clients begin to see improvements in the SERPs and in Google Maps within 3 months. We recommend clients commit to at least 6 months to let us get everything sorted, and recommend working with us for at least 12-18 months to see the real impact of SEO. By this time, the ROI is in full effect.
SEO is a long game. The benefit is that SEO compounds over time and has the highest ROI in digital marketing.
Our Local SEO services start at $1,500 and go up to $3,500/mo+. Our national and e-commerce SEO packages start at $2,500 and go up to over $10,000/mo.
Pricing is determined by the area being targeted, the competition level, and the state of your current SEO.
For example, a Med Spa in Springfield might only need the $2,000/mo SEO packages, while a multi-location Cannabis Dispensary in Boston might need a $3,500-$5,000 month SEO package.
When it comes to national and e-commerce SEO, the same concept applies.
When we prepare our proposals, we look at all of this and recommend only what you need.
While some other SEO companies use metrics like keywords, keyword positions, and overall traffic as the main metrics, we take an ROI-centric approach to SEO.
You'll still see the standard SEO data. But our focus is on building your brand, ranking high for the keywords with the highest buyer intent that match your ICP, and driving revenue.
We implement extensive ROI tracking and use these metrics as the guiding force of all our SEO efforts.
If your traffic explodes, but this traffic doesn't convert, we don't count that as a win. Our goal is to get you a solid ROI on the SEO work as quickly as possible. To us, success is when you're making 3-5 times what you pay us in new monthly revenue.

During onboarding, we determine the top KPIs we will track. The important KPIs vary between businesses and industries.
Some of the top KPIs we track:
We set up custom tracking for each client so it weighs heaviest towards the business goals. In the end, all other KPIs lead us towards understanding what is driving or what is holding up revenue.
Tracking the ROI for SEO campaigns can be tricky. It's pretty straightforward for e-commerce, but in the world of services, and especially in industries with long sales cycles, it gets more difficult.
We use Google Analytics to track organic conversions, branded searches, etc. But the real ROI magic is when you share data when you close a deal, and when you track offline conversions by asking where they found you, and keeping track of the revenue generated from those.

We use a combination of commercially available SEO tools as well as specialized tools we've developed.
Some of the tools we utilize for SEO campaigns:
Over 13+ years doing SEO, our tool stack is powerful and effective.
At the end of each month, we run reports on GSC, GA, Ahrefs, Google Maps heatmap grids, and more.
Then we turn this data into an easy-to-understand breakdown of where things stand.
It includes a summary, a breakdown of keywords, traffic, revenue, current Google Maps positions (and changes), and more.
The report also includes a breakdown of what SEO work will be done next month.
Our reports are customized for each client and include all the important data while also being straightforward and clear.
We begin all projects with a 6-month commitment.
Why?
Because SEO takes time, and the first few months are the most intense while we are optimizing and fixing issues.
By the end of month 6, the foundational work will be complete. After that timeframe, we move into either a 12-month term, which locks in the price and hours for 12 months, or we move into a month-to-month with a recommended cancellation period of *60 days. The month-to-month is subject to any price increases or changes to packages.
Why 60 days? We plan about 2 months at a time. The 60 days are more for you than for us. This timeframe allows us to pivot and get you set up in the best way after the SEO stops.
What is included varies by type of SEO, Local vs. national and e-commerce, and by the package specifications.
Typically included in each monthly SEO package:
While the goals of Local SEO and Enterprise SEO are similar, the landscape and the tactics vary.
What is Local SEO?
Local SEO is search engine optimization that is done to rank a business in a set geographic area. This is typically a town or city, but can include several towns that are near each other. Local SEO relies heavily on optimizing and ranking a Google Business Profile to show up in the top 3 Google Maps rankings. Local SEO is less competitive than national or Enterprise SEO because it is focused on a hyper-local area. For Local SEO, the GBP, local backlinks, citations, and local press mentions are key.
What is Enterprise SEO?
Enterprise or National SEO is for businesses that are not bound by a city or state. This is for businesses that serve nationally or internationally. The competition level is higher for Enterprise SEO. Where a local SEO campaign might target the keyword "moving company in Boston, MA" an enterprise-level moving company might target the much broader term "moving company". Enterprise SEO focuses much less on the GBP and more on building brand awareness, high authority backlinks, topical mapping, and more.
Basically, if your business services a specific town, city, or even state, it is considered Local SEO. If your business services nationally or internationally, then it is Enterprise or National SEO.
SEO and GEO are similar, but different in several ways.
While SEO focuses on ranking in Google Maps and organic search, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) focuses on getting your brand recommended by AI searches when users are asking for recommendations for the services you provide. AI search visibility covers ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Sonor, Google AI, and Google AI Overviews.
Intent differences.
When users search on a search engine, they might search for "best cosmetic dentist in Springfield". But AI searchers use more conversational and more specific searches like "what is the best cosmetic dentist in Springfield that takes Delta and specializes in nervous patients".
There is still no real consensus as to what is traditional SEO and what is AI SEO.
These opinions are from my own experience as an SEO for 13+ years. And someone who has been testing, researching, and testing to understand the specifics that lead to an AI chat search recommending some companies over others.
A lot of it comes down to good old-fashioned brand authority building, great on-page SEO, the right kinds of brand mentions, backlinks, etc.
But there are tactics that are AI SEO. They might have a minimal effect on organic rank, but a profound effect when it comes to AI search visibility. An example would be a few mentions of your brand on Reddit in a topically relevant subreddit might not move any of your keywords in the SERPs. But those Reddit mentions could be what takes you from not being mentioned to being one of the 3 companies an AI program recommends for high-value searches.
Google AI Mode, Google AI Overview, and Gemini appear more tied to classic search ranking factors. But ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity have their own algorithms deciding which factors are weighed most heavily.
There's also a precise way content needs to be crafted to increase its likelihood of being cited and trusted by AI programs. This same content structure is also ideal for search engines and for building authority when done right.
There are a lot of overlaps. The overlaps are between sophisticated traditional SEO and specific tactics implemented that are unique to AI search visibility.
